Symposium Computer-Aided Process Optimisation

The 1st Symposium on Computer-aided Process Optimisation took place in November 2006 after the ACHEMA 2006. It was organised by InfraServ Knapsack and Chemstations Deutschland GmbH on site of InfraServ Knapsack, Hürth, near Cologne. The main focus of this symposium was the optimisation of chemical plants by using the process simulation software CHEMCAD.

In the 2nd Symposium also experiences concerning concepts and practical realisations were discussed.

In the 3rd Symposium the focus was optimising dynamic processes.

InfraServ Knapsack is an industrial company providing a complete range of services to the process industry. firm providing a complete range of services to the manufacturing industry. Our services provided range from basic design and infrastructure design to complete detail engineering, and construction. The existing interdisciplinary relationships between process, civil, automation and control, construction, safety and environmental engineering readily allows for the integration of new technology, such as online plant optimisation. To complete our service we also provide support in the maintenance, operation and personnel management of existing process plants.

For over 20 years, Chemstations and its chemical process simulation software CHEMCAD have been evolving with the highly dynamic chemical engineering industry.
The Chemstations culture is one based on innovation and integrity. From our inception, our highest priority has been the satisfaction of our customers. From sales to customer support to product developement, everything we do focuses on meeting our customers' unique needs. How well we meet those needs is the standard by which we measure our progress.
Our software CHEMCAD is used in Europe since 1993 and by over 1.000 clients worldwide.
